1. How do I report a crime?

To report a crime within the city limits of Riverdale, dial 911. Your call will be logged and an Officer will be dispatched to you in a timely manner.

2. How can I pay for my ticket?

You may pay your citations (online) 24 hours a day, or make payments at the Clerk of Court Office at 6690 Church Street. Citations payments may also be mailed before the scheduled court to: City of Riverdale Court Services, 6690 Church Street Riverdale, GA 30274. Personal Checks are not accepted; make money orders payable to City of Riverdale.

3. I have a warrant for my arrest, what should I do?

Come to the Riverdale Police Department (map link), 6690 Church Street, Riverdale, GA 30274 and speak to an Officer.

4. Where do I pick up a police incident report or accident report?

All reports produced by the City of Riverdale Police can be picked up in the Records Lobby at the Riverdale Police Department (map link), 6690 Church St., Riverdale, GA 30274, between the hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday. All reports will be ready for pick-up four days after the report has been taken. The cost of a report is $.25 for a single-sided page and $.50 for a two-sided page. Only individuals involved in the accident or a family member can pick up a copy of the report.

5. My vehicle was impounded by a Riverdale Police Officer. How and where do I pick up my vehicle?

Vehicles are only released to the owner of the vehicle or to a designated person with a notarized letter from the owner. You must first obtain a Release Form from the Riverdale Police Department before you can pick up your vehicle. This form, which is free, can be picked up in the Records Lobby at the Riverdale Police Department (map link), 6690 Church St., Riverdale, GA 30274, between the hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday.

The records lobby is closed on all federal holidays. Please bring the following items: a valid id, proof of ownership (title, current tag or bill of sale) and current insurance card. You will then be sent to Tara Wrecker (map link) 9140 Turner Rd., Jonesboro, GA 30236, (770) 472-5610. Tara Wrecker is open Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm and Saturday, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. They are closed on Sundays and all federal holidays.

6. How can I pick up my Property?

All property that has been safely kept at the Riverdale Police Department can be picked up by making an appointment.
