Participants can bring up to 6 copy paper sized boxes of documents. All binders, clips, and folders must be removed prior.

Limit of 6 tires per vehicle. Tires must be without rim. 

SCHOOL SUPPLIES

ITEMS ACCEPTED: Art supplies, school/office supplies: empty writing instruments, glue sticks. 

TOY RECYCLING

ITEMS ACCEPTED: VTech & LeapFrog Electronic toys & learning devices, remote control vehicles, baby toys, action figures, building sets. 

SMALL BATTERIES

ITEMS ACCEPTED: Alkaline (AA, AAA, C, D, 9-V).

LIGHT BULBS

ITEMS ACCEPTED: Compact fluorescent.

PLASTIC BAGS

ITEMS ACCEPTED: Plastic grocery bags & non-woven shopping bags. 

TENNIS SHOES

ITEMS ACCEPTED: Gently used athletic/tennis shoes.

GENERAL INFOMATION 

-PROOF OF RESIDENCY

Riverdale residents must show current driver's license, lease, or utility bill.

-ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 

•Limitations apply: 4 boxes per vehicle.

•Riverdale residents are asked to stay in their vehicles for safety and efficiency. Volunteers collect items from each vehicle, the contents are dumped into a shredding truck or recycling containers onsite. 

*While all shredding is done onsite, you will NOT necessarily be able to see your specific documents being shredded, as they will be mixed in with the documents of other participants.

Free event but donations are accepted and greatly appreciated!
